As well as UK locations we are ready to take your production abroad whether it is a travel video, sport, documentary or event coverage.

Once we have helped to plan and organise your shoot, a dedicated point of contact will be on location with another remaining in London so that clients and crew always have a number to call for information or to arrange the unexpected.

Recent travels have ranged from British Army BASE Jumping in South Africa, coverage of Cannes Film Festival, documenting D-Day 65 in Normandy, Rhino Records U.S. music concerts, interviewing football’s top players for Ford/UEFA in Milan and filming in some of the leading hotels in Europe.

CASE STUDY

Client: Ford/U.E.F.A./The Press Association

Brief: Provide the consortium of Ford/U.E.F.A./The Press Association with over 100 scenes/20 hours of original multi-lingual video content to be filmed in four languages and subtitled into six languages.

Four football legends are to be informally filmed and interviewed for the video-shoot in a bar/restaurant in Milan. The output would form the main content for the launch of the international ‘Feel Football’ website.

Solution: We sent a 4-man team with a multi-lingual camera crew to Italy to capture the event filmed over 2 days in 4 languages. The team had to liaise with local crews, source equipment and work alongside local regulations.

The shoot took place in a city centre restaurant, creating a relaxed atmosphere to put the footballers at ease and give the final product an informal feel of “talking football with friends over a beer”.

Returning to the UK RAW organised a subtitling team to get the content transcribed, translated and subtitled for international delivery to the consortium.

Outcome: Ford and U.E.F.A. issued tight delivery schedules that were met at all stages and the site went out live on time. Using multi stage processing for the 100+ films, output was quality controlled by mother-tongue speaking staff overnight.

Football legends, managers and agents were all satisfied with RAW’s approach and delivery.
